grace

by Jason deClaires Taylor

exhaling a last breath, a last resistance to elemental translation
eyes closed falling into this deep mystery, i am held effortlessly.

gentle currents entwine their stories, threads of life and warmth
this frozen stasis, those impossible weights are lighter here.

and already the alchemy begins, invisible life finds genesis
streaming surfaces, intricate erosion, new solutions, unfurling change.

a Magpie Tales ekphrastic poem

You caught the gentle vibe of the underwater sculpture nicely.

The last stanza is great, especially the line, 'and already the alchemy begins, invisible life finds genesis'
